Celer is the new assay kit fast line that Tecna has introduced to measure quantitatively mycotoxins. After Celer ZON and Celer AFLA (to measure zearalenone and total aflatoxins respectively), it is now available Celer FUMO!!!
Celer FUMO (cod. MF100/MF101) gives quantitative results in only 20 minutes and it is very easy to use. The thing that makes unique this kit is the measuring range, which is really wide (0.75 – 60 ppm) and covers all the EU limits in force, both for food and feedingstuff (baby foods excluded).

On “Food Additives and Contaminants” (volume 24, issue 7, pp. 730-734) was published an article related to a study carried by French (Montpellier) and African (Cameroun) partners, which demostrated that operating conditions affect ochratoxin A (OTA) extraction from roasted coffee. This implies that contamination results can change very much between methods.
