Tecna has organized a congress about DIOXINS and dl-PCBs

On the 16th of December 2008, at the Sheraton Hotel in Bologna, the first DR CALUX® conference took place: “Principles and applications of the bioassay to detect dioxins and dl-PCBs”, organized by Tecna S.r.l. in collaboration with BioDetection Systems BV (The Netherlands)

The meeting was intended for a thorough analysis of the current situation in the field of dioxins and dl-PCBs analysis in Italy and Europe, with a special focus on the screening method DR CALUX, recently introduced in Italy, but widely used in many other countries.

The meeting had joined together some of the main experts in the dioxins field and also some users of the DR CALUX bioassay, screening method validated for food, feed and environmental matrixes that allows the analysis of an high number of samples.
